PetOn.com makes custom wool felt keepsakes from customer-provided pet reference photos and commission notes. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how customers can ask us to update or delete it.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate a custom commission workflow:

  • Account and contact details such as name, email address, shipping address, and support messages.
  • Commission details such as pet name, species, markings, pose notes, product selection, options, preview feedback, and approval history.
  • Pet reference photos uploaded by customers or added later when our studio requests more angles.
  • Order and payment records including order number, payment status, deposit or balance amount, and payment provider reference. Full card numbers are handled by payment processors and are not stored by PetOn.com.
  • Site usage and device data such as browser type, page interactions, cookies, and security logs used to keep the site reliable.

How We Use Information

We use customer information to:

  • Create and manage PetOn accounts, commissions, orders, preview approvals, and shipments.
  • Review reference photos before production and request additional photos when needed.
  • Process deposits, balance payments, refunds, and order confirmations.
  • Provide support for photo guidance, production status, shipping, care, and warranty questions.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and payment disputes.
  • Improve the PetOn website, product catalog, and customer workflow.

Photo And Commission Content

Customers keep ownership of their pet photos and personal commission notes. PetOn.com uses them only to make, review, support, and document the requested commission unless the customer gives separate permission for gallery, marketing, or social use.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run the store, such as payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, support tools, and shipping carriers. We may also share information when required by law or when needed to protect customers, PetOn.com, or the integrity of the service.

Retention

We keep order, payment, and support records as long as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, customer support, warranty handling, and legal obligations. Customers may ask us to delete optional pet photos after a commission is complete when retention is no longer needed for an active order, dispute, warranty request, or legal requirement.

Customer Choices

Customers may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting support. Some records may need to be retained where required for tax, accounting, chargeback, warranty, or security reasons.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, role-based admin access, and operational review to protect customer and commission data. No online system is perfect, but we limit access to people and systems that need the information for PetOn operations.
